Mares of Equestria by KestrelTown Mares of Equestria by KestrelTown
A Ponification of an old World War Two British Governmental Poster, starring the ever industrious Applejack. I previously posted this under the name Motochine, but I made a few changes since then, and I prefer my username this way. Keep 'em Firing girls!

And yes, that is the font from the Monopoly board.

Just remember once the war is over go forget about all the freedoms you've just experienced and go back home.

War.

War is one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, including Elmer Layden, Jim Crowley, and Harry Stuhldreher (or maybe that somethin else).

I feel like it would probably be stallions on the poster considering mares are obviously very dominant in Equestria. Still like this though, it's quite well designed.

A fair point. I thought that since the original poster uses a woman with her arms raised aloft, I would use a Mare. Still, it does raise the question of how an Equestrian draft army would be composed. Though in the armed forces of many countries in real life, women can serve on the front line, all of Princess Celestia's Royal Guards are male Stallions. Maybe I'm just overthinking it!
